
Eventually, she builds a hut in a secluded glen near the village of Glencoe. Corrag slowly made her way into the Scottish Highlands with only a horse for company. She sent Corrag away – north and west – before she’s tried as a witch. (It gave the villagers someone else to blame for their problems.) When the marshmen were all caught, Cora knew her life was in danger. They were safe in the village as long as the marshmen raided.

I’m always on the lookout for books that are great in audio. She thought it was the best audiobook she listened to last year.
