Suddenly, in a world of anthropomorphic citizens and Greek Gods and powers, we are to believe that the main character is a faithful, Christian man (albeit, to his own confession, a bad one). My major problem is the introduction in the second book and in this book, Power of the Lost, to the idea of a Christian God out of-well, nowhere. The erotica is (mostly) well done (as a cis female, I can tell this wasn't written by someone born with my same parts). The story of Celestine and the adventures within are addictive.

First, Tess Irondale is amazing! She narrates in a way that keeps me listening.
